Screenshot to mockup

Some of the screens you most want to show cannot be captured from a public URL: the dashboard behind your login, a staging build, a localhost prototype, or a page with customer data you have blurred out.Upload a screenshot you took yourself and URL2Mockup places it in the same laptop, tablet, or phone frames, backgrounds, and canvas sizes as a URL capture.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Take a clean screenshot

Capture at the device’s proportions: a desktop browser window for laptop, a phone-width view (devtools device mode works) for phone. Remove or blur private data first.

  2. Step 2

    Upload it

Choose upload instead of pasting a URL and pick the device frame it should go into.

  3. Step 3

    Style and size

Apply a background preset or your brand gradient, adjust padding and shadow, and pick a canvas such as Open Graph or Product Hunt.

  4. Step 4

    Export

Download PNG, JPG, or WebP, or copy to clipboard.

Tips

  • Crop out your own browser’s tabs and address bar; the device frame supplies the context.
  • Use the URL capture for public pages: it saves you the screenshot step and is easy to redo after a redesign.
  • Blur or replace real customer names and emails before uploading.

Frequently asked questions

When the page is not publicly reachable: logged-in app screens, staging behind auth, localhost, or a screen you have edited to hide private data.

Yes. Device colors, shadows, background presets, custom solid or gradient backgrounds, padding, and every canvas size work the same way.

Use a screenshot with the same proportions as the device you choose: a landscape desktop capture for laptop, a tall phone-width capture for phone. Higher-resolution screenshots give sharper exports.

Every export is included

Pay per capture with prepaid credits from $12. Clean HD downloads, styling, and private links cost nothing extra.
